ANNUAL EVENT 2011

Generation CEO 2011 vintage

On October 6th, 2011, the new winners of the exclusive women’s network were announced for the fifth time in Berlin’s Kommandantur (old garrison headquarters). During this annual event, the winners of all previous years met with leaders from the sponsoring companies, from the advisory board and from the Council of the Wise, such as Dr. Wulf Bernotat, former CEO of E.ON AG.

With over a 100 participants, this year's event was the largest so far. After an opening by Hartmut Ostrowski (Bertelsmann), the new Generation CEO managers were introduced to the audience. The “Gender Equality Project”, an institution that helps companies create and measure key performance indicators for diversity, presented its work. Later, Heidi Stopper (ProSiebenSat.1) gave a speech and opened a round table discussion around the “Best diversity practices” of various companies from Bertelsmann to Microsoft.
